Patient Consent Policy
Last updated: July 2026
- Informed consent is central to ethical surgical care. Nothing about your case — documentation, treatment or publication — proceeds without your explicit, informed agreement.
- Informed Consent Before Any Procedure
No surgical or cosmetic procedure is performed without your written, informed consent. This is given only after your risks, expected recovery, alternatives and realistic outcomes have been explained clearly.
- Consent for Case Documentation
Clinical photographs may be taken for your medical record and treatment planning. These are stored confidentially and used solely for your care unless separate, explicit consent is given for any other purpose.
- Consent for Before & After Publication
Clinical photographs may be taken for your medical record and treatment planning. These are stored confidentially and used solely for your care unless separate, explicit consent is given for any other purpose.
- Consent for Before & After Publication
Before-and-after photography is never published on this website, social media, or anywhere else without your separate, explicit written consent — given freely, without pressure, and revocable at any time.
- Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw previously given consent for photography use or publication at any time, by contacting us directly. Withdrawal does not affect your ongoing clinical care.
- Consent for Minors
For procedures involving minors (such as congenital or reconstructive care), consent is obtained from a parent or legal guardian, with the child’s needs and wellbeing as the central consideration.
- Sensitive & Corrective Procedures
For procedures such as vaginoplasty, hypospadias surgery or hidradenitis suppurativa, consent processes are handled with additional discretion, and documentation is limited strictly to what is clinically necessary.
- No Pressure to Consent
You are never rushed or pressured into consenting to a procedure. You are encouraged to take the time you need, ask every question you have, and seek a second opinion if you wish.
